I feel I can relate to youth because I am one. My voice resonates because it is real, current, from authentic experience, and bold, loud, and clear. I am not telling someone else’s story—I am  writing my own, and inviting others to join.

Patnerships

I had a great experience visiting Colombia a few years ago, along with “Capi,” who is supported by Creative Visions. We visited and engaged with the indigenous communities in the Sierra Nevada and in Santa Marta. I then further connected with the organization “Tras La Perla “ that supports and promotes sustainability in Santa Marta, as well as creating opportunities among the marginalized communities and underserved youth, engaging them through soccer. I was able to visit their training center at the school and spend some time with the kids there, of all different age groups. I was inspired to further their mission and help provide filtered,clean drinking water so they can move away from the countless number of plastic bottles that are used due to no other option for safe, clean drinking water.  

Last summer, 2024, I did the service trip with the “ Katie Adamson Conservation Fund “ to Tanzania and the “ Tanzania Elephant Foundation “
